Welcome to newB Jo! I’m Christian Jones (aka “mrsJo”) and I’m new to a lot of things. I’m a {fairly} new college graduate, a new professional, a new wife, and a new mom – a list of things that are in chronological order rather than priority.
I’ve noticed I am learning a lot of things as I go and simply want to share my experiences and opinions in hopes to help others make more informed decisions. Note that my blog represents me, not the organizations or networks I belong to.

On September 20, 2015, I married an amazing man – mrJo! Our story is simple. We met. We clicked. We loved. We’re constantly learning new things about each other and improving everyday. It’s true what they say about marriage being a lot of work! Hopefully our story helps.

In June 2015, mrJo & I conceived our first child – babyJo! That started two new chapters in my life: pregnancy & motherhood. I love being a student of these two subjects and preparing for parenthood with mrJo. There are SO many resources out there and I hope by sharing my experience I can be one for you.

I’m a new wife & mom, but I’ve always been a nerd! I graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing & Business Information Systems from Texas Christian University in 2013 (Go Frogs!). Immediately following graduation I started work at a financial services company in Information Technology and am also pursuing my Masters in Information Technology at University of North Texas (where mrJo got his undergrad!). I’m passionate about professional development and I always seek to help young professionals.

Congratulations on being a wife and mother.. Hopefully you journey in writing your story will educate you and your husband. Just remember to always have date night EVERY week.. Write about it for us readers.. We would love to hear more about how you are “handlin” your husband.. That’s important for us readers that are in a marriage. Just fyi.. Great stories.. 😉
